Glen the Old English Sheepdog Dog

12 weeks old, and there you were,
eyes so blue, and fluffy curly hair,
I thought i would cry,
as i took you in my arms,
as a dog like you , had so much charm.
I named you glen,
although sometimes glenford,
you cherished your bonios,
and you never had bad temper.
Everybody loved you,
and everybody cared,
we tried our best to nurse you,
when illness became aware.
Things had got much better,
months had past just fine,
then one day you took a temperature,
we got you medication just in time.
We thought the illness was over,
that everything would be okay,
when one sunday in September,
God decided to take you far away.
we tried our best to help you,
we hope you were never ever in pain,
and i hope you know we will always love you,
even though you are now gone,
and as your spirit lingers around,
dont feel you are forgotten.
Just remember we will meet again,
in a better place so beautiful and bright,
a place where we can rest in peace,
and be together again through eternal light.
