Conquistador XII is my Spanish Andalusian stallion and foundation sire of our herd. He is 16.1H tall and has nice bone substance - 27mm canons! Yet he is elegant and lithe, very smooth to ride, and very responsive.
His first trainer, which we moved away and had to part with, taught him to ride bareback and bridleless without any difficulty... so he is great with leg and seat aids, and you dont have to get into his mouth!
A Parelli trainer met him at a weekend seminar and said he is the "SMARTEST horse he had ever met"!!
You gotta love these Andalusians.
