We found Sophie on facebook! She was at our local shelter. Had been surrendered when her elderly owners had to be placed in a nursing home. She is probably 10 years old, heartworm positive and will have to have numerous teeth pulled :o( She does however, now have a forever home!

You know that I have always thought so much of you and your rescuing of needy animals such as Sophie. So glad she won Pet of the Week last week with Trevor. They are cute and I bet he is great company for her. Thank ou from me for rescuing her and taking care of her needs. My ind of person

What a beautiful girl Sophie is and I feel certain she is thankful for her rescue. In her honor we need to make her pet of the week NOW!
