My wonderful 11yr old Seamus, blue point, also died recently of renal failure. There isn't a day that goes by when I'm not thinking of him and expecting him to jump up on my lap. It's so sad that our dearly loved kitties can't live as long as we do. In many ways, I believe that cats are so much more loyal and loving than humans.
   
Please accept my sympathy for the loss of your loving boy.
