This breed of rabbit is my favorite because its hair really feels like velvet and it is easy to handle

Just a warning Rex rabbits in my experience can be very susceptible to Gastric hairballs or sometimes called GI which has been quite an expensive breed fault. Despite this they are a very rewarding breed especially for children (older) I have found.

I call my Rex bunny the Velveteen Rabbit! :) They look a lot different than they FEEL! They are so incredibly soft! My bunny likes to be held like a baby and enjoys much stroking about the ears and head.
Bunny rabbits eat a LOT more than I thought they would before getting mine. Now I know that they eat like little horses! If you are getting a Rex bunny rabbit be expecting a big feed bill. :)
