Added on Jan 1st, 2008 I read the article on rabbits and other animals. While it is true that dogs and cats can possess a danger to rabbits, they can also be best friends, if introduced properly, and supervised. Our cat took a few weeks until he could be trusted with this new brother, Peanut the Holland Lop. When I couldn't find either of them, all I had to do was look in my sons room. They would be piled upon his bed ,or under his bed. When our beloved little Peanut passed away last year, our cat mourned for him. There are many articles on the web about introducing rabbits to cats, so don't rule out those special animal friendships. They take some work, but Hollands are a wonderful, sweet, and friendly breed. They are very loyal, and a good listeners. I enjoyed many early morning cups of coffee, with a cat curled up at my feet, and a bunny on my lap.

Added on Jan 1st, 2008 Holland lops are the most wonderful pets! I have 4 and 2 are pregnant. Their names are Bucky, Erica, frenchi, and Coco. Although some are shy and may scratch, but really sweet ones like Frenchi make it worth every bit! Flowerchild837@aol.com
