Flemish giants may be somewhat lazy, but their sweetness more then makes up for that. I would recommend a Flemish giant over a dwarf breed any day as a family pet. They are way calmer and easy to handle, take it from me, I've had both kinds and I'll never go back to dwarf after having a Flemish!
