Added on Jan 1st, 2008 The Checkered Giant is an amazing breed. They are beautiful animals. They are big, soft, and fast. What more could you want. They do tend to be somewhat territorial and can startle easily, but I personally think their cuteness overrides that! Plus, short hair, less severe shedding! :)
Added on Aug 19th, 2008 I thought they were considered one of the Giants, not the large breed. I can not help but disagree when I found it was considered a 'large' breed. Checkered Giants are really big rabbits, defiantly not considered a large rabbit.
