I have owned ASBs for 37 years. They are the most people oriented breed I have ever worked with. They do excel at what ever they are trained for. They do ranch work, are fabulous driving horses and are great on trails. Several owners are getting their NTRC miles . From the backyard family horse to the World Grand Champion Five Gaited horse ASBs can do it all. Trained with kindness and empathy, a Saddlebred will do his best to do what is asked of him. This people pleasing attitude and love of human contact is why we have Saddlebreds.

Amen Kim Kelly! Here at Cascade Colors we have owned Saddlebreds since 1990 and specialize in well bred pintos. I have to say of all the breeds I have owned or handled (not that I do not have a soft spot for many other breeds) the Saddlebred I have found to be the most People Friendly eager and giving horse and I can not imagine replacing them with any other breed. They are sure footed durable horses with logical thinking minds. I have had horses I could shoot my rifle while holding a lead and had no issues of fright (of course not all horses are that calm). These are truly an all American horses with big kind hearts. We are hooked for life!
