My little Yorkie is one of the sweetest little dogs you will ever find. He was given to me this summer and I have fallen in love with him. There isn't enough money out there to ever buy him from me. His name is Teddy, and my baby.

My dog Mindy is a Yorkie and she is not a show dog so we cut her hair. If your Yorkie is not a show dog or anything consider trimming their hair because they can get around easier and it's more comfortable for them.

I have had several different breeds of dogs but I have to say that the Yorkie is my favorite. They are easy to care for and are very loving little dogs. My baby Lielo came to me right before my son passed away and she has been such a great comfort to me. I don't know what I'd do without her.

A Yorkshire Terrier (commonly called: Yorkie) is vivacious, gregarious, gracious, incredibly curios and eager for fun and adventure. Of all toy breeds, he is the most independent, smart, rational and calm. Do not forget its terrier personality and the fact that it still maintains its hunting behavior. A hyper or an aggressive Yorkie is considered a fault in the breed and since, the temperament is transmittable to the offspring; a “bad personality” Yorkie should not be use for breeding.

I have a male yorkie that I got from the Yorkie rescue group. His name is Bailey and he is very loving and intelligent. Probably the most intelligent dog I have ever had. Yorkies are sweeties.
