My rottie came in to my life when I was facing rough times... She literally saved my life with her love and devotion. I would not trade her for anything. She is my best friend.

I own a Rottie and for me she is the best dog I've ever had and I've had a lot of dogs in my day. I was born and raised with German shepherds and had at one time believed they were top dog. They are wonderful, but I have to say that the Rottie is the world's best breed. I am currently going to school to become a veterinary technician and have run into a lot of different breeds, purebred and your everyday heinz 57's. I wouldn't trade my rottie for anything. I also have a Chihuahua, named Chiquita. They get along great!. The Rottie has gotten a bad rap because to the chosen few who have by misfortune, gotten into the wrong hands. I believe this to be true with all breeds. I try and use my Rottie as a goodwill ambassador for the Rottweiler bred. If all of the rottie owners did this I'm sure the bred would eventually regain a good name.
