From Susan, Location Unknown I have two pugs and I foster pugs. They are a friendly, loving breed. They
are good with children and adults. I also have three cats and the pugs and cats
get along great. I would recommend a pug for any family. I adore mine. They are
funny and entertaining and don't have a mean bone in them.
From Sara, Atlanta We have had our pug for almost a year. We just adore him. He is a natural
clown, he eats like a pig and will keep you laughing nonstop. He is very loving
(loves to cuddle), loyal (protective) and likes lots of attention (wants to play
all the time). However pugs shed like crazy. Don't let anyone tell you
otherwise. They are a great pet for kids.
From Samantha, Missouri I have two pugs 1 black, 1 fawn. They are extremely playful all the time,
and like one other reader said they shed like crazy. I have had both pugs for 4
years or so. They each came to us as puppies, and they act as crazy as the day
we brought them home.
From Victoria, Benton, Arkansas My sweet girl is nearly 12 now and the absolute best dog/breed I have ever
owned. She is loving, protective (with her bark, but never a bite...ever)
and likes to snuggle. They take little care, but they do have a snore that
can wake the dead. Once you adopt a pug into your home the snore becomes a
melody to your ears. They are hardy animals and tend to form close
relationships with their owners. They want to be near you wherever you go.
If I get up to get to get a drink, she is right behind me, waiting for me to sit
still again. We adopted our baby when she was grown and had never been
around children before. She took up with the children as if they had
always been a part of her family. I would highly recommend a pug.
Watch out for the hair!
From 'chaoder', Oak Park, Ca I have a 4-mos old pug named Yoda, and I have to say that these are one of
the funniest breed's to own. They have the funniest facial expressions and the
best personalities! They're stubborn, but smart. They may play dumb, but they're
a lot smarter than you think! They are definitely one of the coolest breeds!
