From Randi, Oklahoma Dalmations are a loving breed. Sometimes if they don't get enough exercise
they might be hyper. There are very good with kids.
From Tracey, Oklahoma City I have 2 Dals, 7 and 8 yrs old. They are wonderful, loving, loyal
animals. You couldn't ask for a better friend.
From Dee, MA While I never thought I would own a Dalmatian, a completely deaf one at that, he
is the sweetest and most gentle dog I have ever seen. He is now almost 9 years
old and has been a part of our household for 8 years. His large yard is completely
fenced in, he sleeps in the house which is why his home is his domain. Would I
trade him for any other breed, never... I know he was sent here for a reason and
maybe someday we will find out why. for now we just enjoy his laid back
disposition
From Judy, New Jersey
We just sadly put our 8 yrs. young female Dalmatian to sleep on 5/21/04. Took
her to vet on 5/4 as "Ali" was drinking a lot of water-thought she had
sugar. It turned out Ali's enzymes were too high & it affected her kidneys
& pancreas. We had her on medicine & prescription dog food. We were
& are still devastated that 16 days later, she would no longer be with us.
As a comfort, we had her cremated at a private cremation & took her ashes
home. Was wondering if anyone has had the same problems with a Dalmatian.
Thank you for any info. we can get.
