Added on Jan 1st, 2008 I have a beautiful Black and Tan baby named Vienna she is such a people dog I love her to death she loves to be cuddled loves to sleep with the kids on her back, We have been taking her to little league and softball games since she was about 2 months she is really comfortable with people she is just a little hyper sometimes and can never be left alone with any type of paper especially toilet paper!! I want to breed her and have more of these dogs I love them!
Added on July 12th, 2008 My husband has a mini dachshund called Sam.He is very intelligent,he understands simple commands like" go to bed or go wee wee".When he is naughty he knows,he goes to his bed and sulks until you call him and stroke him and then he wags his tail.He knows he's been forgiven.
Added on Aug 1st, 2008 my mini dachshund is 5 months old, she is the most stubborn dog i have ever had but she is very good with people & other dogs. She understands the words as 'sit', 'stay', 'come' and one important command that she will listern is when we are out to do her business and i say samantha potty, she will do it. I am very proud of my little dog.
Added on Aug 14th, 2008 I have always had really large dogs... but I now have 2 mini doxies. They have wonderfully different personalities and are by far the smartest dogs I've ever owned!
Brodie the 9 month old male, is incredibly mischevious, loyal, playful, loving, protective and cuddly. Hiding under the covers, playing 'catch me if you can' and catching the ball are Brodie's favorite games. He makes me wish I had that kind of energy.
Aggie, the little 5 month old female is a little shy with strangers, but VERY bold with other animals and definately rules over Brodie! She is relentless in her quest for fun, cuddle time and sleeping - Brodie is really in trouble if he 'bugs' her while she's napping.
Both are dapples and seem to have longer legs than most mini's...
They come to work with me every day and I've found that my customers prefer seeing them to my merchandise! OH! They both like to hide little toys on the shelves with the clothing... they are both very clever.
