We adopted our Collie, Abbe, at our local Animal Shelter. She was 5yrs old and already housebroke, spayed, and up to date on shots. She is now 10. We love her to pieces. She loves kids and always has kisses. I have taken her to elementary schools to talk about dog care. Everyone loves her. She has been a great buddy and gets along well with our two other dogs and a cat. If you don't mind the shedding, this is a wonderful breed.

I have a border collie and she is the most sweetest thing in the world. Sheacts too much like a human - she is so loving and loves everyone especially kids. If anyone out there is thinking of getting a dog for there kids I recommend a border collie because they are excellent.
