I have an American Pit Bull Terrier, Pit Bull for short. She has the best temperment of all the dogs i've ever been around, and she is the sweetest dog ever, i will admit she is somewhat aggressive around other dogs(only males), but it is my own fault for not socializing her enough...all in all, Pit Bulls will always be in my home, nomatter what. And they are the cutest dogs ever on top of it!!!

Dying to get a Mini Bull Terrier. Female. We live in AZ, and I'm having trouble finding one. Any Suggestions?

To label this breed as 'moderate with kids' is seriously inaccurate!

Bull Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers tested joint highest in the ATTS (American Temperament Test Society) with a pass rate of 92% (out of 63 tested), Staffords only came in a little lower at 88.8% (out of 88 tested) these scores are among the best shown from any breed.

As a long-time Bull Terrier owner I can attest to these statistics being very accurate. I have never, ever come across an intolerant or unreliable BT or SBT. I have however, come across several unreliable Labs.

Please, don't put people off these wonderful breeds with misinformation.

I think this breed of dog gets a bad reputation. My dog has the best temperament- she is an angel. She gets along wonderfully with children, family and other animals. I would recommend the breed to anyone.

I agree wholeheartedly with Krystal -- I picked up my bull terrier as astray puppy and he is smart, loyal, loving, and not aggressive. He is also great with kids as well as very dog and people friendly. People have reacted with fear when they see him (Oh no! A scary Pit Bull!) but he doesn't have a fighting bone in his body. He's all love.
