Added on Jan 1st, 2008 If you can deal with the single mindedness, possible barking, and a bottom-less pit of a stomach, Get a beagle. These are the best dogs you'll ever have. They've got such a sense of humor, and will love you forever. If you want a dog that can't think for itself and will do everything you tell it too, get a lab. If you want a dog that thinks for himself, and likes to figure out what HE will get out of this training, get a beagle. The idea owner of a beagle has a great sense of humor!

Added on Jan 1st, 2008 Almost five years old, Brandy is fun, lovable most of the time. Did go to obedience school. but somewhere we went wrong. She is possessive around the kitchen when it is near her dinner time. Does anyone have a problem with this and how are you dealing with it?
