Don't be misled by the soft expression! Gordons (especially the males) can be stubborn, independent creatures. Motivate a Gordon, and he'll do anything for you (it's amazing how much more intelligent they get when there's a sniff of cheese...) but don't ever expect collie-like servility. Gordons enjoy life - their way. If you've got room for an independent (eccentric?) spirit in your life, great. If not, get something else.
