My girl is 2 years old Lavarack (show type) English Setter. I have fallen in love with the breed. They are soooo good with kids it is amazing. She even goes up to kids at the dog park when she sees them. Not a really bright breed. Really snuggly and loving, very sweet, loves everyone. Great with other dogs too. The coat on the Lavarack type ES requires daily brushing and monthly trimming. For show, bathing weekly. This breed is prone to separation anxiety and are big talkers/whiners. Also, they tend to eat anything they can. Many end up at the vets with surgery to remove objects! Mine loves dried leaves and her brother eats rocks! eeeck! Watch them carefully.
