I have 2 bullmastiffs, one dog one bitch (Jasper & Ellie). Both from the same litter but quite different. Jasper is very lively and Ellie is very calm and motherly. Ellie is the boss and Jasper knows how far to push her. The breed can be very rewarding if raised correctly, firm, consistent and gentle, with love and affection. They have both given me and my family great pleasures and fun. We take them camping and shopping, to the pub. I keep in touch with the breeder and they often meet 2 of the litter sisters and their mother, plus a new Bullmastiff dog family member. A lovely sight to see! With the right owner the Bullmastiff breed is a great pet to own. They eat healthy food (carrots, cabbage & any fruit) in addition to their normal dried food. As you can gather they are very special to me.
