I have had several American Pitbull Terriers and Stafforshire Pitbulls. These are very intelligent dogs and very eager to please. My dogs love children and other animals. Yes, even cats. Good breeding and proper training are important. Unfortunitely these breeds have a bad reputation due to bad dog owners. Bad people create bad dogs. So please don't blame the breed, blame the irresponsible pet owners that do not properly socialize and train their pits. That goes for any dog breed.
