Added on Jan 1st, 2008 By KittyKat - Oklahoma I have to say the American Shorthair is an excellent breed of cat. I would say they are the most friendly of all. I would recommend them to anyone. They are great companions and welcome other household pets.
Added on Jan 1st, 2008 By Jae - Maryland My Jaden is a trip! He loves to be covered or inside of things; bags, boxes, the clothes basket. And toilet paper? We won't even go there. He's very quiet unless he's looking for a hug, then he'll meow me to death until I give him attention. He's totally opposite from my Siamese, Eboni. I got them both at eight weeks and they are best friends, wrestling, ripping, and running all the time. I'm surprised my house still stands the way these two act, you'd think kids were stomping up and down the stairs!
