How To Make Hamster More Friendly

Tools: Email Bookmark Comment

Our hamster is so cranky that he makes a far from pleasant pet. It has got to the point that our kids don't want to know. (Fletcher Harris - New Orleans)

Hamsters can be funny creatures, especially in the company of lots of children who may want to poke and lift him all the time. It is not impossible that one of your children has done something to scare him while you were not present. Do not give up on him - keep him in a quiet room and always treat him to a peanut when you are interacting with him.
