My bearded dragon is eight months old, we have notice that he has skin coming away from his feet, could you tell me if this is normal? (Trevor Cracroft - United Kingdom)
It sounds like your Bearded Dragon has started to undergo his first shedding. This shedding will occur periodically (as often as every 6-8 weeks) as your dragon grows and will shed less often as adults. Other signs of shedding are pale skin and loss of appetite. Normally dragons become very agitated as they shed, and will often run around their enclosure and rub up against their cage furniture. To assist your dragon you can try soaking him in warm water.
