As expected, thisMasterpiece has LONG beenSOLD OUT; and of the 2O made, we do not know how many exist today, if any. Of those that MIGHT have survived, might they have damage? Probably. This * 1 * is in PRISTINE, DAMAGE FREE & FLAWLESS CONDITION. Of the 2O mande, how many bare Helen\'s signature? This might be the ONLY ONE.We collectporcelain figurines and knowHOWto INSPECTfor flaws and/ or damage. We did aVERY Careful VISUAL & TOUCH EXAM of everysurface. We ran our fingers on all surfaces and felt for any nicks or chips and found NONE. We black-lighted this, which is a way to check for repairs. We tapped it with our fingers to make sure it RANG LIKEa BELL, which is what you want to hear, soyou know there are NO HIDDEN cracks. This rings true, as it should. There are NO Chips, Nicks, Dings, Cracks, Loss or repairs we can find. The handpainted matte and low gloss paintedsurfaces are instunningcondition, and it\'s not sunlight faded. The colors are FRESH & VIVID with no rubs or loss. The sculpture we\'d rate a PERFECT 1O ~ All 0riginal with NOREPAIRS, ever. The wooden base we\'d give a 9+ w/ a tiny bit of light wear which is normal & to be expected. This is BIG! ThesolidBLACK WALNUT, real wood basemeasures about 17\" x 12\" x 1\'\' thick. The sculpture is about 10 1/2\" tall x 15 1/2\'\' across x 10\'\' front to back.WITHOUTthe base, it\'s an impressive9 pounds! This is Extremely well sculpted & made w/ Extra Life-Like Details. Even the bottoms of the horses have horse shoes. One can see the muscles on the horses, the froth by the horses\' mouths & noses from them running this steeplechase race. You can see the feel the tension and see the concentration on thejockeys\' faces. They are all wearingyour typical colorful harlequin racehorse uniforms with caps. This is a tight race and you can feel the excitement and drama as the field of horses and their mounts race towards you, the viewer. Two horses are clearing the brush, while others are in the processof trying to clear the fence, while others are in the background racing to catch up. The detailsare expertly and carefully hand painted & the colors are BOLD and STRONG. You see and \"FEEL\" the Energy and Excitement in this 8 Horse Race.In short thisis inMINT& FLAWLESS, DAMAGE-FREE CONDITION, just like it came from the Boehm Factory, 36 years ago! This is the kind of conditionYOU should collect & want.
