    Akoma Hound Heater plus - 300 Watt, WHAT AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!

    I have a plastic Pet Barn III. It works great for summer but not for winter. So with cold weather coming I got busy. I lined the Pet Barn with a black sleeping bag ground mat for camping to insulate it and added a H&R heated floor pad. Still this was not sufficient for winter. So I built a plywood box to cover the Pet Barn and added 2 swinging cat doors and I also added the "Akoma Hound Heater Deluxe PLUS Dog House Furnace 300 Watt Pet House Heater". I put a thermometer sensor in the Pet Barn with the readout on my end table so I can always see the inside box temperature. The Hound Heater Plus was worth every penny & keeps the plywood box at a steady 66-degrees. I only have it set on a medium low setting. The Hound Heater is fantastic.     Small dog house

    This is best suited for a small doghouse, when I ordered it I thought it would heat the cubic feet of ours but it doesn’t help at all. Just make sure your dog house is small and very insulated. I have no use for this product now.

    Outstanding product!

    We got our heater about ten days ago. It couldn’t have been more simple to install and it keeps our beagle’s doghouse nice and warm. The adjustable thermostat works great. We keep it between low and medium and it is plenty warm for him.

    Nice little heater

    Easy to install and heats up quick. Not crazy over the thermostat though. It doesn’t have numbers. It just has low, medium and high. So you can’t really get a sense of the temperature
