Does everything I expected. Would have been better if it had a mark on the string which side is up. Arrow rest is cheap plastic and had to screw in but does the job. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Improved over the proven Jaguar by Martin. The Elite is lighter and seems to fit better in the hand. The shelf is improved with some radius built in, The last few years there have been no limb problems. The bow shoots true and smooth. I have other Damon Howatt one piece recurves and this bow is right there with them. Being a takedown is another plus allowing the bow to go on hunting trips in a small package with the ability to change draw weight in minutes. It is also drilled and tapped for sights, rest and stabilizer. But this bow may be shot instinctively with great success. Word is this bow will accept ILF limbs but I have not been able to confirm. Finally for the price it cannot be beat. Hoyt bows are several hundreds more expensive and I cannot see why. Want a great bow for under $200 delivered to you door. Get one. You won't be disappointed. I love this bow, sturdy, well made, easy to hold and shoot. Easy to assembly. 40lbs is good poundage for target shooting and practice. Not to big. Can handle most accessories. Minimum noise and vibration. Takes most compound accessories since it the same riser used on Martin compound bows. Accurate with good form. Price makes it an excellent beginners bow.

The bow draws extremly smooth. Balance is near perfect when all accessories are in place. Speed is sufficient to take any animal in North America. @ 70lbs. witha 361 gr. arrow I get 309 fps. Release of arrows is crisp. All else being said, I am extremly satisfied with this bow. Can't wait for seasons to start.
Iv been in the archery world for 40 years and shot a lot of different bows so I have a true perspective on what a good bow is. for the money spent you will not find a smoother better shooting bow. the bow does not "stack" after the 28" mark like some bows do. very little handle/limb vibration and what is there is easy to displace with normal string and limb dampeners. over all this is a good solid bow for the beginner or the seasoned archer.
