I recently purchased a 5 gallon tank to house a Betta. The tank came with its own filter pump and needed a replacement quick. I got these I am so happy with the performance. It not only keeps the water super crystal clear, it also removes about 90% of debris in the tank due to the perfect fitment. The original cartridge that came with the pump was never able to keep the water this clear. Highly recommend!

It's 99% better when you put your fish tank outside in the shade where the sun can't reach it, because the water collects oxygen and the airconditioining unit only let's in 20% of new oxygen into the house when active. So when a fish tank with a fish or creature in it is inside the house it leaves a lot less oxygen and more toxins inside your house causing fatigue, and stress no matter what size the creature, after two weeks it changes the comfort indoors. I've thrived with over a hundred pet fish for about 8 years now and spent around 3 to 4 thousand dollars, unemployed on aquarium stuff. It only works outside with the chance of infinite air, or the fish tank will change the house for the worst. If you put the tank outside in the sun though it will grow a lot of algae and you'll have to clean it every week. So if you want an aquarium I suggest outside, a very large tank, and in the shade, with a water heater for the winter. It's the only way for an aquarium, because these water creatures are still expecting infinite possibilities when they settle down because there's 40% more water than land on the earth so they're not made for the feeling of captivation.Read full review
