I probably would not have purchased this model if I had seen and heard it in person. It's okay for the price but I wished I would have found a portable model for the same price. It is a compact model with all the features advertised. Unless you turn the bass on, it sounds "tinny" a bit. It has an alarm feature also.

Being accustom to big name brands, thought this might be a major disappointment. However just the opposite...as this small, tiny unit does deliver. Have it on a stand in my computer/library room and the sound fills this medium size room with power and clarity. Surprised even " picky" me. The tone is pleasing and only had to turned it up just under the mid-point. The radio, I might add doesn't have those string up wires and plays very well as is. Easy to set-up, set the clock, very simple, not difficult to understand controls. I would highly recommend for smaller areas/rooms. It has a very small remote which almost missed as was in slot outside the packaging on the side, not inside. Received within just a few days so was very pleased as now have for week-end listening.

In view of the price I did not expect this unit to be of really good quality. It has a good appearance but I am not sure how long a life span it will have. It does have rather good sound for such a small unit, and it is very compact if you have limited space. - the speaker cords are short, limiting spacing of the speakers; - the connections are not standard male/female so you cannot use different speakers readily or make the cords longer; - the remote does not have all functions on it. - the bass resonance is a little weak Time will tell on this unit, but, again, consider the price and enjoy the level of good sound that you get.

Exactly as described ! I love it. No, the remote doesn't control the sound, but that's fine. I knew that when I ordered it. I'm old enough to remember when there were no remotes. It is in my living room/office and getting up to adjust the volume is no problem, in fact I need to get up and move now and then. It is really cute and the sound is just right for my room. If you want big booming thump thumping sound, this is not for you. If you want a good CD player, radio, aux enabled etc. GET THIS!!
