Recently purchase a Titleist 906F4 5-wood with a stock Adila Proto "by you" 80 gram regular flex shaft. Took two or three rounds to get used to the extra head weight, but now I love it. The extra weight really allows you to feel where the head is in your swing. I usually hit a stiff flex but this shaft will allow you to hit a regular. I get 210 - 220 yds with an easy swing and as promised, this club gets the ball up in the air very nicely. The 3-wood (15.5 degree) same shaft, so far is a bit more difficult to control. I still prefer my old Taylormade Ti bubble two with an upgrade graphite design ys-8.1+ stiff shaft, much easier to hit straight. I will however keep at it, and update my progress as I do really like the pro look of the 906 and the swing feel / weight.
The only thing better than getting a great ebay deal is getting that deal on a product that you know will make you happy. In the case of winning a Titleist 906F4 with a grip/shaft/length/lie that match my own specs, I'm elated! While Titleist hasn't always marketed top-performing products, it does often enough that serious players tend to pay close attention to those Titleist items that work the best. Consistent off the deck from 235 yards, with a slight draw or fade as needed, it's also an option from the tee box on shorter par 4s. It's a little bit better than what it replaced in my bag, a Titleist 904, and, for me, is easier to control than the current model, the 909. Thanks ebay and Titleist.
Titleist clubs have always been known as players clubs and not very forgiving for 14+ handicaps... I would have to agree with most of the reviews after playing this club... It takes a little getting use to but once you figure it out it is a very dependable club to have. I found that this club is better suited for players that sweep the ball off the turf opposed to someone that hits down on the ball... I tend to have more of an irons type swing (hitting down on the ball) so I had to experiment with ball position with this club... Keep in mind everyone's swing is a little different but in my case I got the best results by playing the ball forward and towards the toe of the club. I also would like to note that I never use fairway metals from the rough because the newer shallow face designs seem to cause more pop ups than anything... I like many of you love to remind or heckle my golf buddies after every miss hit from the rough that their fairway wood was made to hit off of the tee and the "fairway"... since they are always in the rough or second cut they should invest in a hybrid!Read full review

This club is an absolute bomber, it works great off the deck and the tee. Believe it or not, this club goes as far as my driver. This is one of the best three woods I have tried. This club has an amazing balance of workability and forgiveness. The design is classic, as anyone and everyone will love this club.
