I'm not a particularly experienced archer; this is the first bow I've purchased. That being said, I really enjoy shooting this bow. After adding a couple of twists to my string, it shoots nice and quiet. My accuracy and groupings are markedly better with my X-200 than with the rental recurve I had been shooting at the lanes. It also doesn't hurt that it is quite appealing to the eye. I purchased the 45# draw.
The X-200 is a very nice bow! Very well made and balanced nicely! I have over one doz. different bows. This and my Hoyt are up there in the ranking! I dont hunt anymore, but love to shoot! I enjoy moving targets! I set up a good one using a hill as back ground. 1/4 steel cable with a wheel tied to a teather about 20' long and then I hang a basket ball sized target from the same wheel that slides up & down the cable. The 150' cable runs up & down hill. Adjust your hight, gravity does the rest! I get three shots off and the X-200 shoots straight and feels good! When it feels good, you shoot good!!! I really like this product! Price-E, but worth it!!!
first traditional bow for me and i couldn't be happier with this bow. i got a 30# draw and it is super smooth all the way to anchor. the craftsmanship is excellent as is to be expected of Martin bows. once i get my form down and strength up, i'll be buying another one at 50# for hunting.
Great bow! The draw is very smooth and allowed me to improve my groupings. I had fun and really enjoyed shooting with it. Will buy another bow from Martin again in the future for sure.
Outstanding product at a great price; always a pleasure doing business with this store. This is my second X-200; both bows have been enjoyed by me and my friends new to archery.
