Using this product as recommended resulted in goopy white clouds which have yet to clear ( now two plus weeks) with no change in nitrates nor pH ...which I was lead to believe from a commercial pet shop and on--the-bottle info...too bad for me... .

Tetra Easybalance seems to be the same as Easybalance PLUS- it still has the yellow nitrate reducing particles. Since using the Easybalance my cichlids seem much more lively, alert and healthy. When the Oscars get big, though, I will do the water changes more often than 6 monthly, as the waste products would be too much for the system.
