I have played an Odyssey White Ice for the last couple years and really wasn't looking for a new putter. But, for the hell of it, tried the new Ping iPhone app for putter fitting at Golf Galaxy one night that it was offered for free. I picked up the Anser 2 and tried it and it felt great. Really different weighting than I was used to. Putted on the fake green extremely well. Then did some research and decided I wanted to try out the Anser 5. I was even better with that model. I just LOVED the way this thing felt in my hands and I was so consistent. So I found one for a few bucks less from a pro shop in SC and I bought it. I have played 8 or 9 rounds with it and have putted lights out. On one particular round, I was playing with two guys I didn't know and they were both commenting on how great I was putting. One wanted to know if I putted this well all the time. I told him since I got this putter, YES. BTW, every other club in my bag is a Titleist. I just couldn't justify purchasing a Scotty at $300. Then I found this PING, which also retailed for $300, but never even thought twice about the money once I fell in love with the feel. I may be a Titleist guy, but when it comes to putters, there's no one better than PING.Read full review
I have tried every putter out there. If you have a straight putting stroke do yourself a favor and try this putter. Great feel, best I have ever putted!
