Bichon Frise approximately 11 lbs she is 6 yrs old. We decided to acclimate her to the carrier by having her spend an hour here and there over the last two weeks prior to travel. We gave her half a Benadryl to help her sleep/be calm. On plane when she wasn’t calm she was digging at the sides of the carrier. The carrier sustained only minor wear/damage from this. It is roomy enough to accommodate our dogs dimensions. (I used a tape measure got the bigger one)

A little bit flimsy in its design, but the bed part you put at the bottom is pretty nice. Lots of mesh for breathing and it feels pretty secure overall. Have not taken it out of the house yet, but a test run in the house was fine, depending on your cat's demeanor.
