This product is described as being for cleaning and restoring rubber rollers. As it is nothing more exciting than isopropyl alcohol so it will indeed clean rubber rollers but there is nothing in this formulation to restore rubber rollers. Let me explain... Isopropyl alcohol (also known as propanol) will not dissolve away all kinds of grime from rollers but can at least help deal with some of what makes rubber rollers slip. So it is fair to say that this product can help you clean rubber rollers. The grime that makes the rollers shiny and slippy is made up of things like toner (mainly plastic), paper dust and chalk (which makes the paper nice and white). Other airborne contaminants will also accumulate on the rollers. The shine also comes from wearing away the roller by friction (a completely different matter). Product formulations containing a little petroleum naptha, acetone (or many others) can address the grime that is not soluble in alcohol, such as the plastics of the toner. Those that contain methyl or ethyl benzene (or similar) should be able to soften rubber that is hardening and will also help dissolve away contaminants that the alcohol can not address. Products that contain methyl salicylate (or mention "wintergreen") are able to restore (at least temporarily) the elastomeric properties of old rubber rollers. Interestingly methyl salicylate is also mentioned in a US Patent relating to racing car tyres where "road grip" is important. Search the Internet for "rubber rejuvenator MSDS" and you will find many cleaning and rejuvenating products for rubber rollers on the market and they have vary varied formulations. Look closely at the formulation information to see if they look appropriate for your needs. But please remember that rubber cleaners and restorers are a temporary fix. Ultimately you will need to replace rubber rollers when they are too worn to function effectively. In conclusion: My reason for not recommending this product is because it will not rejuvenate rubber rollers and will not be as effective at cleaning the rollers as other commercially available formulations. My reason for not describing this product as good values is because buying small quantities of a common solvent is not economical. Isopropyl alcohol (like methylated spirits) is a useful solvent for many purposes so buy more cheaply and in greater bulk. My reason for not describing this product as good quality is because it does not rejuvenate and will not be entirely effective at cleaning. Many better formulations exist. PS: I have no connection with any company that has anything to do with rubber rollers or cleaning/rejuvenating products. I am just a consumer who "did some research". .Read full review

My machine was not folding properly, it was only folding an average of one in ten pamphlets, and I thought a replacement was on the cards. I saw this product advertised and thinking it would be a waste of time and money I ordered a bottle anyway. Magic, it works! my machine is now folding nine out of ten pamphlets with just one application, and I am confident this will improve on further use. Does it work? Definitely.

This product is fantastic for CLEANING rubber rollers. It will NOT rejuvenate or make clean rubber rollers have more grip after applying even after a 12 hour soak. A simple cleaning alcohol that is not disclosed as such.

This "ROLLER REJUVINATOR" is just a bottle of isopropyl!...this alone can soften and penetrate the rubber roller and over time destroy it.
