Pandy prefers getting her water from a flowing faucet. So, I decided to try this flowing water device, and she uses it all the time!!! She is a 17+ year old kitty with cancer. She has been receiving chemotherapy for over a year, and we are are so very excited that she is as healthy as can be. Of course she's showing some aging signs such as a cataract is forming, she "forgets" what she was doing and just stands and stares until she "remembers" that she was going to her food dish. She is very loving and will demand attention! But, that's OK as we are retired and at home most of the time so she gets all the attention she craves. But, the main thing here is that this Pet Safe Fountain keeps her entertained as well as hydrated! Yes, I have recommended this to all my "Kitty Friends".

I have another Drinkwell water fountain that I really like it has a big bowl and my cats love it. It looks like the picture above. I thought I was buying one like it but the one I received has a very small, deep bowl and my cats are afraid to put their heads in it to drink. They will however drink out of the stream so it is getting used. It is also harder to get apart to clean.

So glad to find one that doesn't leak. These have a history of leaking at the pump, but this works great. There is a bit of a mechanical hum, and the falling water is pleasant to hear, but some think too load if they have skittish pets!

This fountain entertains my cat very well. The only drawback is that I don't want to have anything running in the house when I am not there. So I am looking for a plug in Timer so I can set it to run for about 15 minutes and then turn off. There is no on-off switch on this unit, just a quick disconnect low voltage that works as advertised...easily pulled apart to turn off. To finish, I am pleased with the quality and use of this Fountain, but I intend to make it better. Bill in San Diego.

I've an older cat (17) who is doing great, but now that her drinking is stepped up from using this fountain, she really is doing better. It definitely does make drinking water more attractive to them. Even my 6 year old cat is enjoying more water,, which I like to see because he eats more dry kibble than the older kit. I recommend it to everyone with any age cats.
