I have a hatchback car which means the back seats are very roomy. It's better for use in a smaller compact car. It's a good back up though. And VERY durable. So it's also great for heavier dogs. Great value.

It may be that this will last forever but the texture is very rough & my dog hates the feel of it. So I put a nice soft fabric over it & she's happy as a clam. I had to laugh because my dog kept lifting her feet because she didn't like the feel of it.......so I immediately put a soft fabric over it. So it will keep the seat clean & she loves the feel of the fabric I put over it.

I previously had a seat protector but the quality was no where near this sear cover. The photo is a good visual representation of how it looks. Moreover the cover is sturdy and amply sized. I have two full-size retrievers and the cover holds up well even when they bounce around or they are wet.

This pet seat cover is what I wanted and needed to keep dog paws off the leather seat. It is easy to install and clean. The cover did have a bad plastic smell out of the box but I hung it out in the shed for a few days and all was good. The second draw back about this cover is that the pattern of the dog print is upside down. I ordered two and they are both this way. For the price I can overlook this issue.

I haven't used it much yet, but it seems like it will work fine. I do have seat belt straps that I connect to their collars, but I could hear her sliding around, so it appears that it might be a little slippery, but that's where the seat belt connectors come in.
