Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Save on Hearing Aids
I am extremely hard of hearing. I have had hearing aids (wore out) and several amplifiers. This is the best i have had as they use no batteries, can adjust the volume easily and can hear a pin drop. Only thing i don't like is the cord from the ear piece to the device going into the ear is to long for my. I would have gave it 5 stars if not for that. They work great, altho do not take the place of your ears. Nothing does.

A lot cheaper than when you get 2 from a doctor ($3000 from an hearing clinic) So if you are poor, this unit(S) will do. However, the volume control can't be set low enough to avoid hearing a lot of noise, of course it depends how deaf you are. A great feature is, that it can be re-charged. The charge holds a long time. That saves on batteries. Even with the smallest ear adapter, I had trouble putting it inside my ear canal. In my case I would loose the units and had to press them back in.

I would recommend it for amplification of sound which is is intended to do. However, as I suspected, it also amplifies ALL sound so background noise is also louder. If your issue is background noise interfering with speech, then these won't work for you.

Tried the hearing aids for the first time. I noticed a lot less background noise than I received from other economy models. Also sounds amplified were more in line with normal sounds. Very little rearward noise amplified being rechargeable isa real cost saver

I believe this to be a great product. It just didn't work for us and I think that is due solely to the type of hearing loss that he has suffered.
