I have owned Bounty Hunter detectors before and like them a lot. The Land Ranger Pro is even better than I expected for the price. Bounty Hunter has managed to build detectors that are affordable and accurate which makes it a plus for me and others. The land ranger pro is very predictable and stable. It is light weight and I like the fact that it only needs one 9 volt battery. I use Lithium Ion batteries and they last a long time. I highly recommend the pro for those who want an affordable and accurate detector.

I have owned and operated at least a dozen metal detectors in my lifetime, most I sold to purchase another. But I have to admit I am holding on to this one. Good depth and discrimination and I just can't compare it to any other detector within this price range. My other machine is the AT PRO which I use for water hunting. A great all around detector, not a toy like some. Can't go wrong with this detector. Happy hunting.

Great detector been using BH for years. Found things more expensive models could not find. Not for heavy use however. If your going to be putting in 30 hours a week buy more expensive as the key pad wears out after 2 years of heavy use. Buttons are not really buttons but its a press pad. They look like buttons but it is just a picture on a press pad. Other than that the electronics are the best in my opinion.

Is a real good detector it’s easy to use and very accurate. I’ve had other detectors and I’ve searched my yard numerous times and just found modern coins and the first time I used my land pro in my yard I found a walking liberty half. I would recommend this detector.
