This coop is made out of very good materials for the most part and should last for a long time. It is light and strong and with the wheels would be easy to move around if you want providing you have level ground to put it on and a way to keep predators from digging under it. But it has a few problems. The roof material is black but is not the same material pictured. There are three roof panels- the two smaller ones that make the peaked gable roof and a larger one that makes the lower shed roof. The shed roof collapsed in when I gently set a ten pound bag of sugar on it- we definitely have raccoons around here bigger than that. I screwed another polycarbonate panel I had over it to strengthen it. The other two roofs held 25 lb weights so I left them as is, although I am still concerned with the black color here in Texas and may have to cover them too if it proves too hot. I also think the coop needs more ventilation- at least in my climate. But it was easy to drill more holes in the polycarbonate sides. The listing states the run is 24" tall- it is not but rather is 18". I also think the perch is too low and it sits on particle board supports which kind of defeats the " hose it out" philosophy they advertise but again it was easy to just make two taller supports out of polycarbonate and raise it higher off the floor- 3" is just not enough for my chickens anyway. The posting also states they include a board to shut off the run but mine did not have it. And finally it needs much better instructions. They state they email you a pdf with better instructions than come with it but I received no such email. I did find them at their website but they still leave a lot to be desired. I am a contractor with an engineering BS and it was not at all obvious to me how to proceed at points so they could certainly be clearer. All that being said I like it despite those faults as it should last forever and the faults are correctable.Read full review

Two chickens barely fit! They cant even stand up straight in the run. The ladder is very steep. The locks are very poorly done. Disappointed

Order arrived ahead of scheduled date, and was fairly easy to assemble. This size coop will serve our family's needs well. I could not have built a coop for the same money. Overall a great value and solid product.

Instructions were lacking but was pretty simple to put together, made some modifications to the coop for what I was using it for and strengthened some parts
