The product is very nicely designed and constructed with high-quality materials. It produces a very uniform grind and has a precise mechanism for adjusting the grind. It has two negatives. First, although the grind can be adjusted precisely, there are no indicators of where the grind is course or fine so it takes some cut and try to establish the coarseness or fineness that you desire. Second, it takes a lot of grinding for a cup of coffee. I find that it takes about 50 revolutions of the handle to produce enough coffee for one 12 ounce cup of brewed coffee. A finer grind requires more revolutions.

Excellent easy to use, durable grinder. Always a cup of fresh ground coffee whenever you need it. I took it to my office to enjoy a cup of freshly ground coffee every morning, and all my friends at work fell in love with it. I am certainly going to order more of these. By the way, the price is perfect.

Anyone who grinds coffee with an older Hario Skerton has looked on with envy at people who own the newest version - which comes with this silicone lid. There was no way to get the lid separately until now, and it's awesome - allowing one to grind coffee without worrying about coffee bean fragments flying out of the hopper. It's well-made and does its job perfectly. Highly recommended!
