This water dish/fountain does the job very well. I add RO water to it about 16 oz daily for two cats, and clean it every two weeks. The only drawback is picking it up and taking it to the sink for cleaning. It's difficult to do without spilling water and according to my 4'-11" wife, it's heavy (she is almost small enough to swim in it). I think if there was a small base cavity that the pump would set in it would be easier to move around and clean (less water in the base bowl at clean up time)..Otherwise this is a good alternative to a water dish that gets moved around by pets and has to be cleaned and filled every morning. Using RO water allows for longer periods between cleaning and also extends filter life, at least for my application (cat staff).

I have a cat that loves to drink out of the sink and not his bowl, I purchased this product because of the price and the water flow feature. Worked like a charm and it is a well built, easy to assemble and great value for what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to give their furry friends a nice clean easy to manage watering hole.

The kitties' owner (slave?) loves it, too. It is easy to maintain and my cats really do drink more water. I guess the advertising is right: the sound of the fountain splashing softly entices them drink. I have to scoop more, but what wouldn't a good cat-slave do for her babies. The maintenance should, however, be on a schedule. The company recommends every two weeks and that seems to be the maximum time it will run without problems. It is easy to take apart and change the filters, rinse in out, put fresh water back in...takes about 10 minutes max. I have recommended this product to all my friends who are owned by cats and so far I have only heard positive feedback from them. It is definitely a product to try. It is well priced and so are the filters you need.

I have a cat that has always had to have a fountain. He will not drink still water. I have had to clean out blackened plastic fountains from the charcoal filters and it always left me with a bigger mess then the last time. The cats would stand in line with the smaller ones that only had one spout, now with the The Drinkwell 360 Pet Water Fountain they all drink out of a spout. I have three cats and a black lab, that gladly drinks from the fourth all at the same time. No More Lines ! I just easily installed the 4 spout so the water falls down in all directions. This fountain is easy to clean, runs very quiet and is built solid. My other one I always heard it running. The Drinkwell 360 Pet Water Fountain is well worth the money invested. We are all very happy with it

Kidney failure is a common cause of death in cats, so keeping your cat properly hydrated is of the utmost importance. This fountain provides aerated, circulated, filtered fresh clean water accessible at all times. My cat loves drinking from the streams flowing from the central stem, and he likes putting his paws into the water in the base then licking them. We both enjoy the soothing sound of the gently trickling water. This is my second Drinkwell 360. My previous one lasted almost 10 years! Easy care, clean all parts weekly, replace filter every 2 weeks or so. Highly recommend.
