Period hanging frosted glass globe fixture with great art deco brass mounts. Etched motifs on glass. Measures about 24\" to top of ceiling mount. Glass globe circumference is about 31 1/2\", so that would make the diameter about 10\" or so. Likely European made, probably Austrian. If country of origin matters to you, please do your own research.

CONDITION: I have not taken it apart, but I think it is reasonable to assume that ALL electrical work should be replaced, given its age. I can\'t test it because it has an old European style two prong plug. The brass mounts are in nice condition with a nice soft patina from age. The metal curved plate that covers the glass opening has some finish wear/discoloration (possibly - may have always looked this way) as shown in photo. The fixture has not been cleaned, neither the brass nor the globe. No problems with the glass, but I have not taken it apart so I don\'t know the condition of the interior rim under the metal plate. As with any older pieces of glass, expect that there will be a few rubs or scratches. Sells \"as is\". Presents beautifully!
