Wood Aquarium Iron Wood For Sale -

I've been working on this piece for 2 years, drying and debarking. It's a 'One of a Kind'. American Hornbeam (Iron Wood) approx. 23 inches by 20 inches wide and tall. Reddish color, deeper reds underwater. With a few cuts and some sanding (a little bark still needs to be pulled of in some corners), this will be a show piece for your aquarium. I've never seen anything like it. It is fairly light weight, because it is hollow. It has never been in an aquarium, but I did soak it for about three weeks when I first got it. It needed cleaning well, since most of it was underground, with only the branches sticking out of the ground. Then it has been kept indoors drying for 2 years, while I chip and peel the bark away. I don't think I can ship this easily. So pick up in Charlottesville, Va Area would be better. I'm guessing boxing and shipping would be about 75-100 dollars? I'd want to really support it well with foam if it had to be shipped. I'd hate to see it break. There are some areas with cracks, and some areas that are fairly thin. So a good bump might break some of it.Thanks for looking. It's quite a nice piece of wood. I'd put it in my tanks, but this needs to go in a 120 gallon or bigger probably. The width can be made smaller once the branches are completely sawed off. I figure whoever buys it will want to saw them off some way.
