FORMAT: 8 1/2 X 5 1/2\" hardback book with decorative boards (no dust jacket as issued) printed on high quality cardstock with rough cut edges. Beautifully laid out and illustrated with vignettes at the top and bottom of each page, plus several black and white photographs.
CONDITION: Good +. The boards are slightly soiled and edge worn. Titling on spine edge is faded. Name and \"Christmas 1910\" written on fep; text block is clean with intermittent light foxing. A nice copy.
The true story, told by \"Wolf\" of an Alaskan Mail Carrier and his team of sled dogs who made a trip to Washington D. C and were received by President Theodore Roosevelt. The dogs are mostly Malamute or Malamute crosses.
