Up for sale is a wonderful Nguzunguzu (Nguzu Nguzu) or Toto Isu head wood carving from the Solomon Islands. They are also sometimes called Musu Musu. The original purpose of these was as a figure head on war canoes. Now they are often made to celebrate the culture of the Solomon Islands as this one likely was. He\'s holding a head--perhaps of his enemy. It\'s accented with a beautiful design of mother-of-pearl inlay. It\'s 4\" tall and 2.25\" at its widest. I purchased this at an estate sale and am uncertain of its exact age.
