For sale is this very nice Allyn Sales Convair-Liner 340 Chrome Ashtray model. This one is complete and historical in that it was supplied to Northeast Airlines (circa 1949) and was presented to an employee (and possible flight crew member). Chrome is very impressive for being original. Prop shafts and props are removable for safe shipping. Some blue paint has worn off the windows but is not a distraction. Original Allyn black glass insert was missing and has been replaced by a SANDMAN OVERHAUL replacement version.
Dimensions: Wingspan is 8.0" x Overall Length 6.0" x Approximate Height to the top of fuselage 5.0"
Note props are complete and will spin with authority.
Front nameplate states, "Northeast Airlines Convair-Liner" [initial Allyn production sample]
All three rubber "feet" are in place as well.
