Vintage Victorian Celluloid Cabinet Card Photo Album
Adm George Dewey USN 1898
This is an estate find near Stillwater, Minnesota. Cabinet card photo album in wonderful condition. Top of the line album depicting Admiral George Dewey, U.S.N. The hero of the Manila Spanish American War and His Fleet Of Ships: Boston, Concord, Petrel, Raleigh, Olympia and Baltimore.
Celluloid cover is in near mint condition, clasp is in tact and the back is in beautiful color and clean! Inside front cover has patent date of 1898. Album is full and contains images from the Minneapolis area, some from Chalmer's Studio. "CDV" pages are full and have tintypes that are in great condition with some of the same people repeated.
There are 24 Cabinets and 16 Tintypes

Wisconsin residents will be charged 5.5% sales tax at checkout.
SHIPPING
Most of the items that I sell are antique/vintage items and need to be packaged very carefully. Extra bubble wrap or double boxes to insure that there isn't any damage is necessary at times. Although we do our best to keep shipping costs down, sometimes the added weight or size of the package can increase shipping expenses.
Packages are usually shipped within 24 hours of payment receipt (excluding Saturday/Sunday and holidays).
All orders are shipped via USPS. Shipping costs are determined by weight and size of package and your location using the shipping calculator in this sale.
Due to tracking rules, all International Shipping must be done by Express International mail.
Tracking numbers are uploaded to at the time of shipment.
If you purchase more than one item within 2 days of each other and would like those items sent together, please request a combined shipping invoice for those items. Do not pay for any of the items until you are finished with your purchases. I will then weigh those items together and send you a new invoice for the actual shipping costs. At this time, I do not offer a discount on shipping charges, however there will be savings as compared to shipping each item separately.
Please note, that once shipped, Chippewa Valley Consignment Shop has no control over the actual shipping time. You will receive an email stating when your item was shipped and it will provide tracking information for you.
Every package that we ship is covered for any damages that may occur during shipping. Please contact us within 2 days of delivery to let us know that your package arrived damaged. To expedite your refund, photos of the damaged item plus the shipping box are required. In some cases, the insurance company may also request a signed statement from you verifying the damage. Once I receive the photos and know that everything has been accepted by the insurance company, you will receive your refund.
If your package hasn't arrived in the time frame given on your order details page we ask for your patience.This is especially true for packages shipped USPS Parcel Post or Media Mail and for any products shipped Internationally. If the carrier is unable to locate your package, we will of course refund you in full.
RETURNS
Returns are gladly accepted within 14 days of delivery of your item.
Please contact us as soon as you know that you are returning an item. Please mail the package back to us within 30 days of your PAYMENT.
You can expect your refund within 3 business days from the date return is received by us. Shipping costs, including insurance, will not be refunded and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Buyers understand that all items must be received in the same condition that they were sent from Chippewa Valley Consignment Shop.
