vintage Maytag mylar Capacitor (collectible) (Aerovox, 10 uf) low leakage For Sale -

Exact item shown, low leakage Maytag branded capacitor (from a 1960s Maytag 500 series dryer, it is used as the integrating element in the moisture sensing circuit). From the marking (and from measuring with a capacitor tester), this is a 10 microfarad cap, it measured at 11.46 microfarads, but my meter is not a precision meter, that could easily be 10 microfarads. I have parted out the dryer that it came off, the dryer worked fine, just out of room - so this cap is good. I've never seen another capacitor with the Maytag brand name, so if nothing else, this has a great "cool" factor.
