Vintage dissection kit with a celluloid advertising ruler. The 6” ruler advertises Spencer Lens Co. One side has a quote from the naturalist Louis Agassiz. The tools and ruler are in the original flannel lined case with the company name on the snap. For scale, the case is about 6-7/8” X 2-½” when closed.
The tools inside are well used. All metal parts have rust. The rubber on the dropper is soiled, hardened and squished. The case has some wear, a hand sewn repair inside, and green spots on the brass snap.
